How to use GafferOS

Use this page as the fast reference for setup, clock-ins, billing rules, and support workflows. Everything here is built around the current web app.

Billing runs at the end of each month only.

Users count as billable seats only after more than 3 clock-ins in that month.

Workers with no clock-ins for 3 months are highlighted so clients can remove unused seats.

Admin quick start

Open Settings to add company branding, billing contacts, and billing thresholds.

Use Locations to add each site, geofence radius, and named clock-in sections.

Use Workers to invite admins or workers, set pay rates, and assign sites.

Check Billing monthly to review billable seats and inactive-user alerts.

Worker basics

Open Clock, allow device location access, and clock in at your assigned site.

If a location uses sections, pick the correct section before finishing clock-in.

Use Timesheets to review recorded shifts and selected location sections.

Use Settings to update personal details and switch themes.

Support and troubleshooting

Super admins can open audited support sessions from the Support screen.

If someone is redirected unexpectedly, sign out and back in after the cookie fix has deployed.

Use the dashboard and timesheets views to review flagged out-of-zone events.

Announcements appear in the worker profile area for team-wide updates.
